Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this wind faring for your Front Runner Slimline II Platform Rack. Now this aerodynamic faring is going to deflect air over your 58-inch wide Slimline II Platform Rack to help reduce wind noise and drag. And the sleek design is going to actually enhance the look of your platform rack. Now let me go ahead and give you a closer view and give you some measurements here.

So I'm gonna try to lay my tape measure here across just so you can get a idea of the width. So overall, this is sitting right at about 55 and 1/8 inches wide. And then measuring the height here in the center, we're sitting right at about 6 and 3/4 inches tall. And the fairing itself, it weighs a little over three pounds. Now I do wanna show you that at the bottom of our fairing, we have this really nice, really thick rubber seal, it's actually EPDM rubber, that is going to eliminate the gaps between this fairing and your roof.

And then this also includes a strip of clear protective film that's actually going to help prevent scuffs on your finish. You're just going to peel this film off of this backing and then apply that to the roof of your vehicle, and then that's going to protect your finish on your vehicle. And then, as you see these brackets here, these are adjustable brackets and they're gonna let you angle this bearing for the best performance for your particular application. And as you can also see, hardware is included to mount this to your rack, and also mount to your faring. Now this does feature a perforated punch-out section right here in the middle to accommodate for a center-front antenna or shark fin.

And this may interfere with sunroof operation on some vehicles. So it's gonna be a good idea for you to check with your vehicle if you have a sunroof before you pick one of these up. And this will be an easy installation on the Front Runner bottom, on the front-bottom channel, rather, of your Front Runner Slimline II Platform Rack, again, with the included brackets and hardware instructions are also included to guide you through the installation process. And this is constructed of aluminum with a black powder coat finish. So this is going to be very durable, but yet lightweight.
